Evening rituals are just as important as morning rituals, as they help the body relax and prepare for sleep. An evening ritual could begin with a warm shower or bath. Warm water helps relax muscles and prepare the body for sleep. Adding essential oils like lavender or chamomile can enhance the relaxing effect. Lavender is particularly well-known for its calming properties and can help reduce anxiety and stress.

After a bath, a skincare routine is a great opportunity to relax and work preventively.This can be shared with family – parents help children with their skincare, and this time together fosters closeness. It's also a great time to talk to each other, reflect on the day, and express gratitude. Gentle stretching or yoga before bed helps relax the body. Water and hydration as a daily ritual

The body is made up of approximately 60% water, and adequate hydration is essential for all bodily functions – from cognitive function to physical performance. A healthy diet is an important part of wellness, but the way we eat is just as important.Mindful eating means paying full attention to the food – its taste, texture, and smell – instead of eating distractedly. Family meals without screens are a powerful ritual that not only improves nutrition but also strengthens family bonds. For adults, this could mean establishing a consistent bedtime routine and practicing good sleep hygiene.

The bedroom should be cool, dark, and quiet. Avoiding caffeine in the afternoon and limiting screen time before bed helps improve sleep. A relaxing pre-sleep ritual signals to the body that it's time to sleep. A consistent bedtime, even on weekends, helps the body adjust to a rhythm.
