Mehr Informationen über das Produkt

OstroVit Citrulline - a source of citrulline malate
Citrulline is an chemical compound classified as a non-protein amino acid. It is a derivative of ornithine and occurs naturally in the human body, where it participates in the urea cycle alongside arginine and ornithine.

The name “citrulline” comes from the Latin word *Citrullus*, meaning watermelon. It was from this fruit that the compound was first isolated. Watermelon remains one of its most recognizable dietary sources, although citrulline is also found in melons, pumpkins, and cucumbers, among other foods.

OstroVit Citrulline contains citrulline malate, which is a combination of citrulline and malic acid. The product comes in powder form, making it easy to measure out portions and incorporate into the daily supplement regimen of physically active individuals.
