Magnesium balance & relaxation has been enriched with L-aspartic acid, a glycogenic amino acid involved in protein biosynthesis and the nervous system's response to stress and serving as a neurotransmitter [5].

Magnesium deficiency affects disorders on the part of the nervous system, which can manifest as, among other things, lack of resistance to stress, numbness, tingling and cramps in the limbs, and general fatigue and weakness [6]. Magnesium intake has also been linked to the prevention of muscle damage and support of recovery after intense exercise [7]. An inadequate supply of pyridoxine is often associated with states of depressed mood, confusion and weakened immunity [8]. Zinc deficiency, on the other hand, can lead to latent fatigue with reduced endurance (especially in physically active individuals) and impaired cognitive and psychological functions (as noted especially in older people) [4].

Our Magnesium Balance & Relax food supplement contains a large portion of magnesium in the highly absorbable form of citrate, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), L-aspartic acid and the patented, well-absorbed zinc in chelate form - OptiZinc®. This unique mineral chelate, which combines zinc with the amino acid L-methionine, has excellent absorption, retention, antioxidant and cell-protective properties, with which it has advantages over other forms [9]. The recommended daily serving (3 capsules) contains 400 mg magnesium (107% RWS), 15 mg zinc (150% RWS), 10.5 mg vitamin B6 (750% RWS) and 300 mg L-aspartic acid. We recommend taking the supplement one hour before bedtime.
