Essential Omega3 IFOS is the supplement based on fish oil rich in Omega-3 titrated at 36% EPA and 24% DHA and IFOS certified, designed to provide the body with top quality fatty acids obtained from fish oil. Fish oil is rich in essential fatty acids of the Omega-3 series, such as EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), essential nutrients for supporting heart , joint, brain and eye health.

Omega-3 are polyunsaturated fatty acids, and are defined as essential because the body is not able to produce them and consequently we must necessarily obtain them through the diet (from sources such as fish, seafood, nuts, seeds and supplements).

Regular intake of purified fish oil, a source of EPA and DHA, offers several health benefits:
- DHA helps maintain normal brain function (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily dose of 250mg of DHA) – 2 softgels per day;
- DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal visual function (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily dose of 250mg of DHA) – 2 softgels per day;
- EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily dose of 250mg of EPA and 250mg of DHA) – 2 softgels per day;
- EPA and DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal triglyceride levels in the blood (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily dose of 2g of EPA and DHA) – 4 softgels per day;
- EPA and DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily dose of 3g of EPA and DHA) – 5 softgels per day.
