Boron (Latin borium) is a trace element that occurs in the body in small amounts. Although it is not as well-known as other micronutrients, its properties are essential for smooth daily functioning. Deficiency of Boron may disrupt the work of individual systems and contribute to lowering the overall condition of the body.

Boron 3 mg contains a safe portion of the element, so you can feel the benefits of supplementation. One capsule corresponds to the recommended daily amount of boron - 3 mg. The product is in the form of sodium borate (borax) - in this form it is absorbed in the intestines. It is mainly removed in the urine.

Three chemists are credited with the discovery of boron: Joseph Gay-Lussac and Louis Jacques Thénard received the element during their research in 1808 in Paris. At the same time - with independent work - in London, Humphry Davy also did [1]. Naturally boron occurs in the form of colorless crystals of sodium borate. It is a chemical compound - sodium boric acid - also known as "borax", "sodium tetraborate" or "sodium tetraborate"[2]). Boron belongs to 13 group (IIIA) of the periodic table of elements - it has the symbol B and the atomic number 5.

Boron is necessary for the efficient performance of many body processes. Although it is a trace element, its deficiencies have many unpleasant consequences. Sources of boron in the diet include dried prunes and apricots, raisins, avocado, onion, cinnamon, parsley, potatoes and nuts[3].
